Anti-wrinkle cosmetic injectables are a popular choice for those looking to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Botulinum toxin, often referred to as Botox®, is a naturally occurring protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium Botulinum. The toxin blocks the transition of chemical messages sent from the nerve to cause the muscle to contract. Without these messages, the muscle stays in a resting state until the ‘messengers’ recover. This recovery takes approximately 8 to 12 weeks on average.

Dr Jeremy Wild is trained in General Surgery and has specialised training in the use of cosmetic injectables. This clinic uses Xeomin as a reconstituted form of botulinum toxin. The injections are safe, performed with precision and care.

How much does Xeomin cost?

$12/IU + GST
Prices for anti-wrinkle injections are set per international unit (IU) used and depend on the area of the face treated, previous treatments and extent of treatment required. These areas are commonly defined as:

Forehead (horizontal lines across the forehead)- ~10-14 IU's
Glabellar (vertical lines between the eyebrows)- ~16-20 IU's
Crow's feet (fine lines around the eyes)- 20-24 IU's

The extent of treatment will be evaluated and discussed at the time of your consultation.
Please don't hesitate to contact for further information!

How long do the results of anti-wrinkle injections last?

Results last 3-4 months however this can vary between individuals. Movement will begin to return from 8 weeks. Frequent treatment at intervals of less than 3 months is NOT recommended.
